Become Familiar with Boston Bike Laws.
- Top Five things you need to know about bikes and the law:
  1. Bicycles are considered vehicles, and belong on the road
  2. Bicycles must stop at all stop signs and red lights, and obey traffic laws
  3. Bicycles must ride in the direction of traffic
  4. Bicycles may use the entire lane of traffic if need be for safety
  5. Bicycles may only ride on sidewalks outside of business districts, unless otherwise prohibited. Roads are reccomended.

  By doing so, you will:
  - get a fancy registration sticker for your bike to deter thieves.
  - increase the chances of recovery if your bike ever gets stolen.
