Tool Time
“Tool Time” With BU Bikes – Come use our bike tools and learn from others who love bikes!
Hours: Thursdays, 2-5pm (subject to change)
Located in the Center for Gender, Sexuality and Activism at BU, GSU Lower Level.
BU Bikes has a stand, full set of bike tools, and a bike repair how-to book (partially funded by your undergraduate student fee) which we will soon be making available for the entire BU community to use, including students, faculty and staff.

What we have so far:
- Park Tool PCS-4 Repair Stand
- Park Tools AK-37 Advanced Mechanic Tool Set
- Park Tool TS-2 Professional Wheel Truing Stand
- Park Tools Big Blue Book of Repair
Have supplies or bike parts you’d like to donate? Great! Here’s a list of stuff we’re looking for:
- Old bike parts, especially broken chains
- Plastic Tarp
We are currently working on setting weekly shop hours and looking for BU student/faculty/staff volunteers to help attend to our tool shop. If you are interested in volunteering, please feel free to contact us, especially if you have bike shop/mechanic experience.
